South Shore Elder Services Announces Caregiving 101 Seminars

DATELINE: BRAINTREE, MASS…South Shore Elder Services will offer a series of FREE “Caregiving 101” seminars for family caregivers. Located in Braintree, South Shore Elder Services is a non-profit agency that provides valuable resources and services to elders and caregivers throughout the South Shore area.

Presented by South Shore Elder Services and the Family Caregiver Support Program, the Caregiver 101 seminars will be held at South Shore Elder Services’ offices at 159 Bay State Drive on:

• February 28, 2007 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.
• March 28, 2007 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.
• April 25, 2007 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.

The seminars will provide information on community resources, support and respite services for elders and their family caregivers.

In addition to gaining knowledge about successful strategies for managing elder care planning and family decision making, all participants will receive a Caregiver 101 manual, a resource and care planning booklet.
