Lingo24 Announces Free Web Page Translation Service

February 28, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
UK translation agency Lingo24 have launched a free website translation service intended to help British firms target an international audience.
The ‘Put Translation to the Test' campaign is hoping to help fledgling UK companies step up to the global stage with the offer of free translation of part of their website in return for a credit for Lingo24.

The scheme, which runs until the end of March, will enable businesses of all sizes to target the countries of their choice. Companies will be selected on the basis of those who have most to gain from a campaign in a foreign language. Major foreign search engines will find the new translated content quickly and, within 3-6 months, selected companies could find themselves opening up significant opportunity in foreign lands.
Launching the company’s campaign, Lingo24 MD Christian Arno said:

“Market research has shown many people would like to reach out to foreign markets, but don’t make the effort because they think translation costs would make any initiative too expensive. The web provides an ideal medium for testing foreign markets on a small scale, and our offer to help certain sites ‘Put Translation to the Test’ for free should encourage more UK businesses to think globally and achieve real success. We’re not doing this out of the goodness of our hearts, however! When successful applicants find foreign clients are interested in their products and services, we’re hoping they’ll come back and have more material professionally translated by Lingo24.”
