The Business Bank Announces Promotions, Staff Additions

The Business Bank recently announced two staff promotions.

David D. Kohlmeyer has been promoted to senior vice president–chief financial officer.

In this position, Kohlmeyer is responsible for the supervision and management of the bank’s financial plans and policies, including planning, controlling and directing its accounting and financial reporting systems. A UW–Milwaukee graduate with more than 35 years of banking experience, Kohlmeyer has been with The Business Bank since 2001.

Anita G. Huiting has been promoted to assistant vice president–operations. As such, Huiting will oversee the customer service and deposit support functions and its staff. Huiting joined The Business Bank in 1999. She has 26 years of banking experience.

The Bank also added two new staff members.

Kenneth D. Tomsyck has joined The Business Bank as vice president–loan review/risk management officer. In this position, Tomsyck will oversee all aspects of loan review and compliance. Previously a bank examiner for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., Tomsyck is a graduate of the UW–Madison Graduate School of Banking. He has nearly 20 years of banking experience.

Richard S. Smith has joined The Business Bank as vice president–commercial lender. In this position, Smith is responsible for originating and underwriting commercial loans and managing client relationships. A veteran of the commercial lending industry, most recently Smith was vice president–credit administration for a local independent community bank. He holds a B.A. in business administration from Lakeland College.
