Ikeja, Lagos Nigeria, February 23, 2007 - LANCOR Management Limited a subsidiary of Lagos Analysis Corporation, Boston USA today announce that based on new financing agreement reached with a group of Nigerians in the Diaspora, the cost of buying the unique keyboard has been dropped from $35.99 to $17.59 for the basic model.

As will be recalled, KONYIN Nigeria Multilingual keyboard is the invention of LANCOR Technologies, and was launched in Nigeria in April of 2005. The QWERTY+ based keyboard makes it possible for users to type in English, French and all written Nigerian languages simultaneously, with no training required.

“At our original prices, we have been able to sell predominately to the academia, some government agencies and people of means, but our goal is to make this keyboard the standard keyboard of choice for all Nigerians" said Funmi Oyekusibe, LANCOR’s Senior Sales and Marketing Manager. "With the current financing arrangement, we can now make the keyboard available at a price comparable to other keyboards in the market.”

“We understood LANCOR developed these fantastic keyboards without any government grant, and their need to recoup the 8 year research and development costs,” said Issac Nwaje of Encino California, USA. “When we were approached by LANCOR with the idea, it was a no brainer for me and my group; we knew it will be a worthwhile contribution to our motherland. We strongly believe that every computer sold in Nigeria should include this keyboard. After all it is the only keyboard in the world that allows for typing in all written Nigerian languages at the same time.”

“Efforts are also underway to reach agreements with a number of local computer manufacturers to include the keyboard as the basic keyboard in their computers, with special emphasis on the CANi project," said George Van-Lare, LANCOR managing director in Nigeria.

KONYIN Nigeria Multilingual Keyboards will now range in price from $17.59 for the basic models to $35.99 for the slick elegant designed multimedia models. For more information visit us at: www.konyin.com
