RemarkableAgents.com Launches Website Beta Version For Real Estate Professionals

Lancaster, PA – RemarkableAgents.com, a Lancaster, PA-based provider of cost-effective, comprehensive websites and services for real estate professionals, announces the launch of its Agent Website beta product.

“This is revolutionary,” says co-founder Dave Conklin. “There’s nothing like this out there to help real estate agents.”

Conklin says the launch is a response to the lack of easy website solutions for agents. “There certainly are exceptions,” Conklin says, “but most of the agent sites you see have too much information, too many choices or are just hard to navigate. The Internet is a much more personal place now, and we’re creating a way for agents to have a more personal site that they can easily manage themselves.”

The company says the websites are 100% customizable, including the appearance. "Agents can change the look of their website every day if they want to," says co-founder Steve Young. "I wouldn't recommend it, but it's possible. They can update their listings and post time sensitive information without going through a webmaster. It just that easy."

The websites will include places for listings, a blog, lead generation (contact form, property search form, home value form, and mortgage pre-approval form) and handouts for agents to give their consumers to help in the buying or selling process. "It's got to be easy," says co-founder Rory Wilfong. "Easy for the agent to use and update, and especially easy for a potential client visiting the agent's site."

Wilfong adds that many agents need help when it comes to the Internet. “There are a lot of agents paying a lot of money for personal websites that do not do them justice,” Wilfong says. “Go online, you can see it yourself. And it’s not their fault. The resources just haven’t been there for them. We’ve developed a way for agents to have an interactive website they can update themselves, anytime and from anywhere, 24/7.”

A recent survey by the National Association of Realtors shows that 24% of buyers and sellers got the first look at their home online in 2006, as compared to a mere 2% in 1997. This increase of more than 1000% over the last 9 years is forcing many reluctant agents to take the plunge into the internet market. "It's unfortunate," laments Conklin, "that the really attractive, easy to navigate agent websites are few and far between. An unattractive, amateur looking website can be a marketing nightmare for a real estate professional. Conversely, one with too many cute bells and whistles can be counterproductive, as well."

Young adds that agents don't have time for complicated processes. "What makes RemarkableAgents.com an upgrade over the current solutions agents have is that it is very, very simple to use," he says. "Updating, uploading pictures, changing the wording on your pages, changing the entire look of your site, whatever you want to do…it's a matter of clicking your choice and typing the wording you want. It's as easy as making a MIcrosoft Word document. People are already surprised at how easy it is…some of them were even afraid of the internet before!"
