Top spot for senior placing broker

Senior placing broker, Kevin Dower has joined insurance and financial specialists, Lucas Fettes and Partners as part of their continued expansion.Kevin, will place business for the whole group, which has eight offices across the UK. With 35 years experience as a Lloyd’s insurance broker, he has vast experience in handling a high number of Fortune 500 companies in North America.

He joins Lucas Fettes from COBRA London Markets where he spent five years, running their numerous binding authorities, and broking UK and Irish property and liability business. For a number of years, Kevin specialised in medical malpractice and professional liability including working with pharmaceutical companies such as Eli Lilly, SmithKline and Bayer AG. His experience in North America includes working with innovative programs such as the Excess of Loss Treaty, put together for Princeton Insurance Company, the third largest writer of medical malpractice in the United States.

Whilst handling the Fortune 500 companies he has dealt with most of the ‘Seven Sisters” oil companies such as Shell, Standard Oil of California, Tenneco, and Exxon.
