SourceCode Technology Holdings, Inc.(SourceCode) has been invited to be one of the initial members of the Microsoft Business Process Alliance (BPA), a select group of ISV partners using and extending the Microsoft platform to deliver business process management (BPM) solutions. The announcement was made at the 2007 Gartner BPM Summit in San Diego, CA.

"We are pleased to have SourceCode and its K2.net BPM offering as part of the BPA program,” said Burley Kawasaki, group product manager in the Connected Systems Division at Microsoft Corp. “K2.net continues to show the broad integration and partner opportunities for expanding adoption of BPM with BizTalk Server and the Microsoft platform."

“We were proud to be invited to be one of the initial members of the Microsoft Business Process Alliance.” said Dennis Parker, President of SourceCode’s K2.net business unit. “We are excited to highlight our current and next generation K2.net platform at the 2007 Gartner BPM Summit and how it helps customers and partners to design, build and run business process applications.”

K2.net “BlackPearl”, SourceCode’s next generation platform, is scheduled for release in 2007 and will allow a new generation of users the ability to participate in the assembly of business process applications. It will offer enhanced BPM capabilities by leveraging Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 for enhanced SOA capabilities and system-centric process orchestration. It is built natively on-top of the .NET Framework 3.0 and Windows Workflow Foundation for its core workflow runtime, and offers extensive integration with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Microsoft Forms Server 2007, and Microsoft Office Visio 2007.
