Los Angeles, California - February 2007 - Saint John and the Revelations, the popular Canadian indie band, have released their first EP in the US, 'Halo'. The band rented a house in Venice, CA, and set up a recording studio to complete the project. The result is a collection of songs that builds on their influences of Depeche Mode, Elvis Costello, The Smiths, and Bob Dylan. Saint John and the Revelations produced the CD entirely by themselves in-between breaks of surfing and checking out the freak show on the Venice Boardwalk.

Lyrically, the album carries themes of lost love, war, biblical references, and mortality. Musically, the songs are melancholic, hopeful, desperate, catchy, and honest. The reviews are exceeding the band's hopeful expectations, and radio stations in North America and Europe have begun adding the tracks to their playlists. The band is now rehearsing for a North American and European tour.

The EP is available worldwide through digital distribution on iTunes and Rhapsody. It is also available for order from their website.
