(Laurel, MD) 2007—Now in its 25th year, MEDS Publishing is releasing a new product called How to Conduct a Test Review. The 12-hour interactive tutorial is for nursing educators who would like to further help students prepare for the NCLEX and other tests. The program also offers educators 14.8 continuing education (CE) credits.

The program focuses on principles and strategies instructors may teach students in order to succeed in an exam situation. Educators can instruct students on how to answer multiple-answer questions, identify the appropriate strategy for alternate item format questions, and much more. Students can learn from these test reviews how to apply concepts from nursing principles and the five phases of the nursing process.

It is also a great complement to other MEDS resources, as it uses the unique MEDS TQLogic® Critical Thinking Pyramid. It is also available as part of the Ultimate CE Package, which includes the Dosage and Calculations Made Easy Series and Test Construction programs. The package totals 64 CE credits for those wishing to update their nursing knowledge.

In 2006, the Maryland Nurses Association granted approval for MEDS to administer CE credits for nursing educators. For 25 years, MEDS has been offering resources and services for nursing educators, and the provision of CE credits was a welcome new step for the company. MEDS hopes to continue its contributions to the nursing industry by refreshing and complementing the knowledge of nursing educators nationwide.
