Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle to Honor The Chance Theater with Special Award for Excellence!

The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle (LADCC) has announced that The Chance Theater will be receiving a special award for excellence for its 2006 Season. The Chance will be honored with The Polly Warfield Award for an excellent season in a small to mid-size theater at the 38TH Annual LADCC Awards ceremony, Monday, March 19, 2007, at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood. The award is also accompanied by a $500 honorarium funded by the Nederlander Organization.

The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle was founded in 1969 and is dedicated to excellence in theatrical criticism and to the encouragement and improvement of theatre in greater Los Angeles. More information on the 38th Annual LADCC Awards is available online at http://www.ladramacriticscircle.com.

This special award for excellence is a milestone achievement for The Chance Theater as it begins its Ninth Anniversary Season as Anaheim’s award-winning, ensemble-based nonprofit theater organization.
