Free Web Design Seminar in Colorado Springs

(Colorado Springs, Colorado – March 7, 2007) Technopole Website Services in conjunction with the Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC) is offering a FREE web design seminar beginning March 23rd at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) campus.

The classes will cover the basics of domain name selection and registration, basic web design principles and practices, and finally ways to increase traffic to web sites through optimization for search engines.

Presented by local web developer, Cecil Webb, and hosted by the SBDC, the classes are geared to small business owners, community organizations, non-profits, entrepreneurs, and any individuals interested in establishing a strong web presence.

The seminar is broken down into 2 sessions from 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m on the 23rd and the 30th of March. The first session will cover all of the web basics including domain name selection and registration, web presence and design selection, and hosting principles. The second session will cover actual design using template programs, traffic optimization and search engine submission, and internet marketing techniques.

There is a $20 registration fee which will be refunded at the door (less a $1.00 transaction fee). No-shows or persons more than 15 minutes late will not be refunded.
