Sand Creek Post & Beam Announces New Dealership in Fort Collins, Colorado!

Sand Creek Post & Beam is excited to announce the opening of a Sand Creek Post & Beam dealership in Fort Collins, Colorado. The dealership will be run by Jack Dickinson and Cathy Skochinski who joined the Sand Creek team in December. Since their arrival, they have been training with the Sales Director, Mandy Kubik-Fredrickson, as well as at the Sand Creek plant to learning about the production processes.

Jack, who is also the son of the owner Len Dickinson, graduated in 2003 from Macalester University with a BA in History. Cathy, originally from the Minneapolis area, graduated from Hamline University in 2004 with a BA in Communication Studies. They have spent the past two years living and working in Asia. They taught oral English to adults and children in Shanghai, China for the most part, spending the last three months of their time overseas traveling. They visited Tibet, Nepal, Thailand, and Laos.

The dealership was open for business March 1, 2007. “Cathy and I are very excited for the opportunity to expand into the western states with Sand Creek. The post and beam construction of our barns reveal the beauty of the wood that the mountain region architecture exemplifies “says Jack Dickinson. “I was also born in Nederland and am very pleased to be moving back to the state of Colorado.”

Sand Creek Post & Beam barn kit designs are available as beautiful Prairie Carriage Houses, Ponderosa Country barns, Great Plains horse barns, or massive Great Plains gambrels in a one story, one and a half story, and/or with lean-to options. Each barn kit includes a walk in door and handcrafted windows. Optional features that add architectural details and further enhance the barn include lofts, stairways, cupolas, dormers, transom windows, sliding doors, garage doors, flower boxes, and weathervanes.
