Online calendar seeks non-profit events listings now in the US & Canada

The success of the Count Me In Calendar in providing a free outlet for UK charities to promote their awareness and fundraising campaigns has encouraged Editor Gareth Jenkins to add new US and Canadian listings.

"The site provides a unique service - the opportunity for non-profits to profile their key national events and it has really caught on in the UK" says Gareth. "Over a 12 month period we'll have over one thousand events profiled. So we thought why not do the same for the US and Canada. We're delighted we have because the feedback has been tremendous".

The audience is varied and growing rapidly - educationalists, pr, media, CSR managers, charity events managers, fundraisers and, of course, citizens looking for opportunities to make a difference.

The new US and Candian Calendars are just two months old but are developing fast and so is the US traffic to the site. Already 20% of the visitors come from non-UK locations.

One of the aims when the decision was made to include US and Canadian events was the opportunity for fundraisers to see what their counterparts are doing in other parts of the world - to be inspired and maybe try new ideas. It's been described as the most complete overview of non-profit events - whenyou visit you'll see why.

Events should be national or state-wide rather than local and can be easily submitted via the site. Of course the longer they are on the site the more interest they will generate so the advice is submit early - up to a year ahead is just fine.

The site can be found at www.countmeincalendar.info - check out your country listing but also have a good look around - there's some great events happening.

The Count Me In Calendar looks forward to promoting your event in the very near future.
