“Nobody amongst us had ever done anything like karting before, so we went there not really knowing what to expect,” recalls Mark.
Full safety information is briefed to all participants before they go out on to the track and protective equipment, like helmets, race-suits and gloves are provided.
With a state-of-the-art computerized timing system, the competitive juices can really flow in the form of open timed sessions.
“We were amazed at how quickly we all got familiar with the karts and some of our lap times were really impressive!” said Mark.
The event proved a massive success for Mark’s team of employees, who took advantage of the conferencing facilities.
“We had a really productive meeting straight after the karting session. The relaxed atmosphere meant everybody was at ease and people who probably wouldn’t have interacted in the normal working environment contributed a great deal to the day,” said Mark.
The Cardiff circuit has a number of experienced and helpful staff, who will be happy to help make your teambuilding event a success.
The course has great facilities, including Male and Female changing rooms, conference room for up to 50 people, free parking, trackside café and a spectator viewing area looking over the track.
If you have been given the tricky task of arranging a teambuilding event in Cardiff, then booking a session at the brilliant Karting circuit might be just what you are looking for.
Mark Davies has no doubts about what the session at Cardiff’s circuit did for his team of staff.
“It really acted as a great tool to get staff laughing and talking to each other. The Karting is truly exciting, so much so, that we’ve now made it a quarterly event in our business calendar. I’m even taking some potential clients to the Cardiff circuit next week!”
