Angela Malhotra, one of the stars of the SiTV sketch comedy show "Unacceptable Behavior" has been nominated for a 2007 NAMIC Vision Award by the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications for best actress in a comedy series. "Angela's performance is one of pure raw talent; she has a remarkable ability to capture a myriad of characters with emotional range and expression. We are thrilled that Angela is finally getting the notice she deserves" a spokesman for SiTV said.

Angela is in good company, the other nominees in this category include Tonya Patano for "Weeds" on Showtime, Mo'Nique for "Mo'Niques FAT chance" on Oxygen and Sheryl Underwood for "Comic View" on BET. Malhotra is a multi-talented artist whose resume spans theatre, television, film, and comedy improv. Her range as an actress is equally impressive mastering everything from Shakespeare to situation comedies. She is also a gifted dancer, singer and regularly performs with magicians at LA’s famed Magic Castle. She currently gets booked for improv shows around town as well including the main room at the illustrious Comedy Store and IceHouse. NAMIC is the premiere organization focusing on multi-ethnic diversity in the communications industry Nominations for the 13th annual NAMIC Vision Awards were announced on January 23rd by the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications honoring outstanding achievements in original, multi-ethnic cable programming. The awards ceremony is scheduled for March 27th, 2007 at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills, California.
