ARTIST SUSAN VAUGHN SEARCHING FOR HER DREAM ART STUDIO…..

March 12, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Entertainment News
Artist Mary Susan Vaughn has been painting her entire life and teaching for the past 8 years, but lacks the dream space necessary to set up her art studio for teenagers to come after school and on weekends to paint, unwind, and create all things beautiful.

It started in her home in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Susan was teaching her own children, then their friends wanted to learn to paint, then the parents, then many of the teenage children in her homeschooling community wanted to take art lessons. "She ran out of space in our home and had to turn many children away," says her husband, Robert. "We looked into getting a loan on our home, but we just can't afford this costly proposition." But Susan hasn't lost hope. She has been looking for television and designer shows to take on a challenge makeover project and hopes that her studio needs will catch their attention.

"It isn't probable, but it isn't impossible either," says Vaughn about her new studio dreams. This studio is not just for myself, it will be a refuge for young teens to go and paint, draw, and create. I want to have a place where I can teach and move about and set up numerous easels and taborets for these inspiring artists.

And that is what brings us to this story. All it takes is one generous contribution to put it all in motion. If you would like to contribute to the Mary Susan Vaughn Studio of Fine Art, please contact her via her website at www.marysusanvaughn.com.
