Arizona Based Study Abroad Provider Wins National Award

Admissions Marketing Report, a national publication providing marketing news and information around the country, has announced its winners of the Twentieth Annual Admissions Advertising Awards, which includes Arizona based study abroad provider, Cultural Experiences Abroad (CEA).

CEA, found online at, provides study abroad programs in Europe, Latin America and Australia for U.S. and Canadian college students, including many college students from 9 different Arizona colleges and universities, including Arizona State University, University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University and Mesa and Scottsdale community colleges. The company is based in Tempe, Arizona, where it has quickly grown into a multi-million dollar organization.

The Twentieth Annual Admissions Advertising Awards recognize and applaud leaders in the field of admissions marketing and advertising. The competition evaluates programs and campaigns against the best in the county, with a panel of industry specialists judging creativity, marketing execution and impact of message.

As a first-time entrant, CEA submitted their 2005/2006 catalog in the category of Schools under 2,000 students and received the Silver award.

In addition to the Admissions Advertising Award, CEA’s printed marketing materials have also won acclaim from the American Marketing Association, and the company itself has been ranked in Inc. Magazine’s 500 fastest growing private companies for the past two years. In 2003, CEA was also ranked the 13th fastest growing company in Arizona by the Arizona Business Journal and received the Arizona Corporate Excellence (ACE) award.
