Hotly-tipped novel to be launched at the India High Commission

Legend Press has announced that it will be launching its latest novel Journey, a superb debut from author Jae Watson, with an exclusive event at the Nehru Centre, the cultural wing of the India High Commission in Central London.

The beautifully-written novel is set predominantly in the enchanting and chaotic Holy City of Varanasi, India and its launch party will include a reading and question-and-answer session with the author as well as a celebratory champagne reception held in the impressive Nehru gallery.

The guest-list-only event will take place on Thursday 29th March, two days before the hotly-tipped novel hits the shops. Limited places remain available; interested parties should contact info@legendpress.co.uk.

The novel is being backed by a strong marketing campaign with reviews, events and promotions already lined-up, and its launch is perfectly timed to coincide with the Spring/Summer markets and the current fascination with India, travel and the climate of world fear. Legend Press has already received worldwide rights interest leading up to the novel’s UK launch.

Legend Press managing director Tom Chalmers said: “Journey is a fast-paced, thoughtful novel, full of twists and turns that will keep the reader engrossed from start to finish. It is a moving and meaningful exploration of different belief systems, of fate, psychology, complex relationships and – most of all – of raw emotions: fear, love and trust. We are convinced by its potential to be a major hit and are very much looking to its launch at the India High Commission.”

Journey will be available on 31st March from bookshops nationwide and is also available to pre-order at a £1 discount with free postage and packaging from Legend Press’s own online shop – see www.legendpress.co.uk/23301 for details.
