Earlier this week the President signed the biggest rewrite of US bankruptcy law in a quarter-century. This law would require people with incomes above a certain level to pay some or all of their credit-card charges, medical bills, and other obligations under a court-ordered bankruptcy plan.

"Wow, they finally passed it" said Ron Tittle with Alliance Home Lending in Tulsa, Oklahoma. "I have heard talk about this for years, but it never got to -well let's face it, it's the law now.It will be interesting to see what will develop within the next six months. It's all new territory, unfortuantely, in my opinion, the hardest hit will be low-income workers, single mothers, minorities, and the elderly and quite frankly will remove a invisilble saftely net for those who have lost their jobs, due to illness or other factors or have to pay extremely high medical bills."
"I am very fortunate to have so many years of experience in this field. And look forward to helping Oklahomans. Okies are tough, tornados, the dust bowl, USC, bankruptcy I promise you a country boy and gal will survive."
