'So London’, the new lifestyle printed magazine glossy, seeks bestseller status with their website counterpart designed by Birmingham Jewellery Quarter based creative media and design company WebsynergiDesign.

Chetan Naik, of WebsynergiDesign, described the website and bespoke content management software as being designed to the highest .Net 2 and CSS programming standards. ‘This enables the So London staff to operate their own content management system with each new publication and to manage images, advertising and the ranking of articles’, said Mr. Naik. Website services provided include:
web based classified advertisements with functionality in the Content Management System (CMS) to enable scheduling of ads by the web administrator;
highly user-centric website in terms of ease of use;
clear and logical website navigation system;
multi-criteria property search system;
property tracking;
complex SQL database;
web-based subscription page;
e-subscription and ecommerce facility with WorldPay;
visitor registration system;
automated events listing;
Content Management System (CMS);
website hosting and statistical reporting.

The criteria set by the SO LONDON management team have been integrated into a website designed to high standards of technical efficiency and attractiveness. The website design reflects the sophistication and aspirations of SO LONDON as a catalyst for affluent society, promoting it as a dynamic property search and selection site and informed knowledge repository. The development of an effective content management system (CMS) was key to this project.

Mr. Naik explaine, ‘WebsynergiDesign achieved this exciting contract in the face of stiff competition from other UK web design agencies. I think this was because we were able to give the ‘So London’ management team the confidence that we could take responsibility for the entire website side of the magazine. We developed an excellent working relationship with them as we are used to working to tight deadlines and we had everything up and running for their high profile launch.’
