March 23, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
March 2007 – Encino, CA – SecureMyCompany today announced the launch of their free Managed Services webinars to help technology providers make the transition to a Managed Services model. The addition of application and practice management training allows technology providers to ease their way into the Managed Services model without incurring any up-front costs.

SecureMyCompany webinar topics include Getting Started with Managed Services, Managed Services Best Practices and application training for Kaseya, McAfee and TecLink MSP Solutions. Training classes are hosted online and available in both live and recorded formats. In addition to Managed Services training, SecureMyCompany provides additional free resources for Managed Services Providers such as sales and marketing materials and best practices documents.

“Managed Services is more than just software” says Frank Hughes, Vice President of SecureMyCompany. “Managed Services is a combination of business processes, practice management and a great set of tools. Our online training system helps resellers jump-start their Managed Services business.”

SecureMyCompany partnered with Missing Link Managed Services, LLC, a successful and well-respected Managed Services Provider in Lexington, Kentucky. Missing Link provides Kaseya application training, configuration and MSP training in both on-site and remote formats to help Managed Services Providers maximize their investment in Kaseya. SecureMyCompany’s Kaseya application training sessions are conducted by Marty Godsey, a Senior Engineer at Missing Link and an established Kaseya consultant. Marty travels throughout the United States helping resellers make the transition to a Managed Services model.

“Our goal is to help technology providers understand the Managed Services model and how to implement it using the Kaseya software” says Marty Godsey. “We have already helped several VARs become very successful by assisting them with the transition to Managed Services.”

SecureMyCompany offers a hosted version of the Kaseya Managed Services software to help technology providers avoid the up-front infrastructure and setup costs traditionally associated with Managed Services. Kaseya provides administrators with the ability to manage Windows-based systems across multiple domains, locations and organizations. Administrators can easily monitor servers, workstations and network devices behind firewalls, NAT-enabled gateways or using dial-up connections using only web browser.

Technology Providers can register for a free 30-Day trial of Kaseya Managed Services and McAfee Total Protection for Small Business software by visiting the SecureMyCompany Managed Services website at http://www.securemycompany.com/
