Former eBay Sellers Now Selling Their Own Auction Site

White Pine, TN - March 24, 2007 – Only five months after its opening, Paul and Gena Suarez have decided to sell HomeschoolBuy.com. They created the site especially for homeschoolers after eBay's ban on Teacher's Editions, but with their online store, and 2 blogging websites to maintain along with The Old Schoolhouse Magazine, it’s time for someone else to take the reins of HomeschoolBuy.

When homeschool mom, Gena Suarez, began selling homeschool curriculum on eBay, she never dreamed that years later she would create a competing auction site, but in October 2006 that became a reality. HomeschoolBuy.com, a family-friendly Internet auction alternative, came head to head with eBay, and provided a place for devastated homeschool users who were looking for somewhere to sell their curriculum after eBay's ban on Teacher's Editions.

In the months to follow, Paul and Gena juggled TOS Magazine, their vast blog communities, speaking schedules, their online store, and HomeschoolBuy, but the drain was enormous. As HomeschoolBuy grew, they realized that they just did not have the ability to run all of their businesses and decided that it was time to let go of their baby homeschool auction site. Now they're prepared to sell it to someone who can fully maintain what they have begun. Yes, it’s always hard for a mother to watch her little one grow up, but Gena knows that HomeschoolBuy is poised for success.

Gena Suarez, co-owner of HomeschoolBuy and The Old Schoolhouse Magazine says, “We're ready to watch HomeschoolBuy soar! We're offering the new owner free consultation from our marketing department for one year, $12,000 worth of free print and online advertising with TOS Magazine and our websites, a top notch website with lots of options, and a growing number of registered users.”

Thanks to eBay's ban of Teacher’s Editions, a whole new opportunity was born. The possibilities with HomeschoolBuy are limitless. They only wait for someone to step out like Paul & Gena have done and take the chance. Of course, Gena can’t allow just anyone to take care of her baby; she will consider only serious investors.
