(Miramar, FL) ANASTASIA CLARK, poet and author of numerous poetry books, announces the debut of her new line of keepsake poetry booklets: POETRY PETALS.
The gift books are being published by Sun Rising Poetry Press in St. Joseph, MO. Each booklet features an assortment of twenty rhymed and free verse poems centered on a specific theme. Some of the themes include Romantic Poems, Inspirational Poems, Friendship Poems, Nostalgic Poems, Holiday Poems, Healing Poems and Patriotic Poems. The books are being marketed to florists, gift shops and bookstores.

Clark has been writing poetry in her spare time for over thirty years. She grew up in Framingham, MA where she was a Poet-In-Residence during 1977-78. She now resides in South Florida with her family. Currently she is serving as the Poetry Editor for Epiphany Magazine: a celebration in writing and also serves as the Poetry Columnist for Cold Glass Magazine. Her work has been widely published in numerous literary journals.

Earlier this year, Clark released her gut-wrenching collection, Grieving With Poetry- A Journey to the Soul (Sun Rising Poetry Press, 2004). The highly acclaimed book features journal entries and poems written after the death of her parents. It has been hailed as an excellent resource for those experiencing the loss of a loved one.

In her second full-length collection released this year, Bloodsongs- Poetry for Those Who Know of Being Woman (Sun Rising Poetry Press, 2004), Clark explores womanhood with her familiar snapshot style poetry. Included in the book are many of her popular favorites, including "Old Volcanoes' and "My Lucky Dress.'

Skeletons and Other Complaints (Sun Rising Poetry Presss, 2004) is her third full-length collection to be released this year. It is a book that contemplates the tough issues in life: divorce, illness, aging and other challenging issues.

Clark says, "It was hard to switch gears and write the upbeat Poetry Petals collection after writing the Grieving and Skeletons books- but it was also a great way to bring balance back to my life and my writing. It was a journey back to sunshine for me and I hope readers will join me.'

As with her other books, the Poetry Petals booklets will feature the vibrant artwork of award winning book cover designer Donette Smock. Smock is also the Publisher at Sun Rising Poetry Press while Dale Jungk is the Editor-In-Chief.
