Mobiles.co.uk wins Best Online Retailer 2007

It's official – Mobiles.co.uk is the best online mobile phone retailer in the UK!

Last night, the 13th annual Mobile News awards were held at the London Hilton on Park Lane, London. Around 1200 people packed the Hilton to find out who would win the top awards, as voted for by their industry peers.

Mobiles.co.uk won the category of Best Online Retailer 2007. Having last year won the Best Small Retailer, this year Mobiles.co.uk were in a new category more suited to their business model and were up against some tough competition. The likes of Carphone Warehouse, Orange, Mobileshop and Virgin Mobile were all hopeful candidates in this category but ultimately the transformation of the Mobiles.co.uk web site over the last 12 months wowed the judges and provided a clear winner.

The Mobiles.co.uk website was completely redesigned recently leading to the judge's comments of "A top website name with clear layout that's simple to use" and "The focus and attention to detail were impressive".

Mobiles.co.uk is the only independent retailer to offer instant online credit checking for all five major UK networks as well as offering a wide range of free gifts and tariff redemption offers. Having traded online for 11 years, the award gives recognition to the innovative style that has become a hallmark of this dotcom success.
