Global Prayer Network Mobilizes To Uplift Stressed-Out Christians

Kansas City, Missouri — NCS is collecting prayer requests from those feeling alienated or stressed by their church relationship – and taking those prayers around the world, on a global prayer tour. While visiting Christian worshippers in ten different countries, McKain will share the requests with prayer warriors who will join together to create a global prayer chain of support and uplift.

Christians who take an active role in their churches often end up feeling burned-out and overstressed, says National Church Specialties (NCS) founder Larry McKain. “Fellowship and community are a big part of what Americans want to get out of their church experience,” says McKain, “but to achieve that when Christians are also highly involved and serving requires maintaining a high spiritual energy level that can only be sustained by prayer.”

Christians seeking to have their prayer requests taken on the global prayer tour should visit www.lovethechurch.net to register their requests. Also at the site, NCS is offering a FREE weekly electronic devotional newsletter called “LOVE THE CHURCH”. This e-devotional offers insights from scripture to help Christians understand why they are called to love the church as Christ loved her – even when the church seems hard to love! It offers helpful advice and sound counsel on building a relationship with the church that will last a lifetime – through good as well as bad times.

New Church Specialties is a coaching and consulting ministry that works to build agenda harmony, and to strengthen and multiply the church. Founded on July 1, 1999, NCS has now trained over 60,000 church leaders in 22 different denominations, both here in the U.S. & Canada and around the world.
