St. Louis Society for the Blind & Visually Impaired Announces Board Members

St. Louis, Missouri, USA … David C. Ekin, President and CEO of The St. Louis Society for the Blind and Visually Impaired, which administers productive programs for individuals in greater St. Louis, today announced members of the Board of Directors elected to serve three-year terms, and newly members of the Advisory Board. They are:

Board members elected for three-year term:

Midge Crider, Community Volunteer
Sheila Sweeney, President, S.M. Sweeney & Company
Susan Thornberry, Real Estate Broker (independent)

Al Wiman, Vice President, St. Louis Science Center

Elected to Advisory Board:

Linda Rose, St. Louis Rams

Mr. Ekin said, “We welcome these members to our Board of Directors and Advisory Board as the St. Louis Society for the Blind and Visually Impaired works to expand our benevolent mission and community service programs.”

Founded in 1911, The St. Louis Society for the Blind and Visually Impaired is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit agency providing education, training and vision rehabilitation services to more than 1,500 individuals annually who are blind or visually impaired to enhance their physical, psychological and social rehabilitation and independence.
