The Simon Pearce Restaurant To Host A Wine Seminar & Dinner

The Simon Pearce Restaurant, winner of the 2006 Wine Spectator “Best of Award of Excellence” for having one of the most outstanding wine lists in the world, will host a wine tasting seminar and dinner on Monday, April 30th for a very special evening.

"We are honored to have Marc Perrin of Chateau de Beaucastel & Perrin et Fils and Dominic Symington from Symington Family Estates of Oporto & the Douro co-hosting a wine seminar and dinner," states Jessica Johnson, Simon Pearce Beverage Program Director.

Known for its rich history, biodynamic viticulture, outstanding wines and dedication to quality, Chateau de Beaucastel of France’s Southern Rhone Valley is one of the world’s most prestigious wine estates. The Symington Family has a long, proud ancestry in port production going back thirteen generations over a period of 350 years. They have produced some of the greatest Vintage Ports ever seen from the houses of Warre’s, Dow’s and Graham’s.

Sit down seminar on fine wine and port will begin at 5:30pm.
Following the seminar at 7pm, there will be a three-course dinner in the restaurant paired with Marc and Dominic’s wines.
