March 31, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Lifestyle News
Living in a secular world, eleven year old Cheyenne Shipwash sought to find others that shared her Christian faith. Cheyenne, along with her mother, Staci Salazar Shipwash, developed an online community for preteen girls. Testament Tweens is a trendy, interactive website with activities and resources available for girls from 8-12 years old and their parents, dedicated to faith, friends and fellowship. For example, girls can download printable cards, stationery or wrapping paper for their own use and to share with friends. Testament Tween Logo Wear and products can be purchased through the online store, along with recommended books and room décor. It is an innovative site for Christian preteen girls to hangout and become a part of a growing niche.

“I really want it to take off and be a great online community for Christian preteen girls to come together. Not only those that are ‘seasoned’ Christians, but I would LOVE to know that we are reaching new girls and welcoming them into Christ's Kingdom. That is our drive behind the website … spreading the gospel!” writes co-creator, Staci Salazar. 4preteengirls.com was founded in 2007 to provide preteen girls with a variety of resources, games and appropriate products for their age group. The site offers a range of articles, games, recipes, projects, daily devotional, message forums and more for the tween age girl and her parents.

Continuously being developed and growing in numbers, Testament Tweens has the opportunity to reach large numbers of Christian tween girls. Plans for future products are being cultivated and will be announced as they are ready to be presented. Cheyenne and her mother hope to inspire others around the world simply by supplying the gathering place for friends.
