Houston, TX – Popular live chat software provider WebsiteAlive (www.websitealive.com) released a new program which allows Mac OS/X users to run their AliveChat Operator Console inside the Mac Desktop Dock (http://websitealive.com/downloads_operatorconsolemac.asp). This optional component further increases ease of product use by allowing the user to launch the Operator Console within the Mac Dock rather than navigating to the login page via web browser. The component incorporates automatic “away mode” during periods of inactivity, and automatically informs you of a new visitor to the website including the visitor’s city of origin.

Dustin Yu, Founder and President of WebsiteAlive.com, has this to say about the new offering, “We developed this tool for the Mac community as I feel it is a vital demographic who can benefit from the use of this product despite the web browser application they are using. It’s an exciting step forward in the interfacing between our product and the Mac user.”

PC users may also utilize and benefit from the component.

WebsiteAlive.com offers multiple online live chat software packages which are designed to help facilitate online sales by allowing website owners to communicate with potential and current customers. The applications enable both eCommerce and non-eCommerce websites to chat in real time with site visitors in order to answer questions (customer service) or direct and assist with website sales (online sales representative). The software also allows for extensive tracking and onsite monitoring capabilities.
