WESTMINSTER, Colo. – April 2007 – The Dalbey Education Institute, the world’s largest provider of educational products and services for home-based entrepreneurs working in the cash flow note industry, today announced the appointment of John Stalick to the position of chief financial officer.

In this position, Stalick will be responsible for the company’s finance, information technology and facilities departments. A lifelong entrepreneur, Stalick has more than 40 years of varied experience in finance, IT, mergers and acquisitions and company management and leadership.

“John has a wealth of outstanding experience and will be a great addition to our company,” said Dalbey Education Institute Founder and CEO Russ Dalbey. “However, I was most impressed with his success as an entrepreneur who started, operated and ultimately profited from the sale of his own company. Since our students are entrepreneurs, I believe it’s important for the leadership of our company to understand their needs, and John certainly does,” he added.

In 1972 Stalick founded Small Systems Specialists, Inc., which became PMAS in 2002 and provides integrated software and services for the property management industry. He grew the company from start-up to nearly 60 employees. In March 2006 he negotiated the successful sale of the company to former customer Domin-8 Enterprise Solutions, a leading provider of integrated software and services for the property management industry.

Prior to founding his own company, Stalick was the vice president of Development for the Psychiatric Institutes of America, a company which developed private psychiatric hospitals.

After leaving high school, Stalick served in the United States Air Force Security Service, an elite division. Positions in the USAFSS required top-secret clearance, were extremely high pressure and were considered essential to U.S. cold war efforts. Through this position, Stalick became fluent in Russian. After his service, he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in accounting and finance from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Born and raised in Wyoming, Stalick now makes his home in Colorado with his wife, Susan, and has two grown children and four grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys riding motorcycles and is a multi-engine instrument rated pilot with both seaplane and glider ratings. He also has an extensive collection of sewing machines and enjoys sewing.
