DAZBOG COFFEE Company Acquires Diedrich's Coffee Stores in Denver

April 06, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
DAZBOG COFFEE Company (dazbog.com) has completed an agreement with Diedrich’s Coffee to acquire the company’s three stores in Denver. The stores are located in the following three highly desirable retail locations:

o The store at 9th and Downing near Cheesman Park
o The store at 16th and Broadway in the Petroleum Building downtown
o The store at 12th and Clayton in “The Garage” near Congress Park

All three stores will retain the ambience that has made them popular neighborhood meeting places, but each location will be updated and re-branded to reflect the DAZBOG name and to feature the coffee, products and amenities available at all DAZBOG Coffee Cafés.

“These three stores are in great locations, both in terms of visibility for the DAZBOG brand and also in terms of being surrounded by customers that love gourmet coffee. Whether it is in a DAZBOG store or brewing a cup at home with store-bought DAZBOG beans, our customers now have even more opportunities to savor a true DAZBOG moment by drinking our rich coffee,” said Anatoly (Tony) Yuffa, CEO of DAZBOG COFFEE Co.

“These stores have a great neighborhood feel to them and Diedrich’s Coffee wanted to make sure that the company that acquired these stores was a part of the Denver community. That is a big reason why they chose DAZBOG,” said Leonid (Leo) Yuffa, DAZBOG’s COO. “In addition to acquiring these three stores from Diedrich’s, we are also excited about the upcoming opening of our new cafés at 17th Ave & Downing and in the Denver Tech Center in a few weeks. We also plan to open another downtown Denver location in June, the DAZBOG franchise at DIA will open in September, and a number of other Denver locations will open in the coming months.”

By the end of 2007, DAZBOG expects to have more than 20 stores by the end of 2007.
