ART+ interviewed Mr. Delfeayo Marsalis about his new album Minions Dominion

ART+ interviewed Mr. Delfeayo Marsalis, the highly acclaimed trombonist and Grammy Award-winning producer and musician about his new album Minions Dominion.

Mr. Marsalis said that the interesting thing about Minions is that it is 'generational' in that there are 4 generations playing and having a great jazz conversation, like a real family where different generations get together to talk and communicate.

In the interview, Mr. Marsalis talks about the 5 pieces he composed on Minions and which is his favourite. He talked about his work with Jazz legends: Elvin Jones and Art Blakey and his 22 year career as a music producer. Mr. Marsalis won several Grammy Awards as a music producer.
