Boats.Net announced today that they were thrilled to enter the world of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) by signing a three year deal to become a major sponsor for King of the Cage, one of the premier MMA productions.

Boats.Net, the largest Yamaha and Honda OEM outboard parts dealer in the U.S., feels this new partnership will be a great fit for both Boats.Net and King of the Cage. The demographics of those in the marine industry are similar to the viewers of King of the Cage, and many MMA viewers are also avid boaters and fisherman.

“We are extremely excited about this partnership and are proud to see the name “Boats.Net” branded in association with King of the Cage”, said Tom D’Azevedo, CEO of Boats.Net.”

Terry Trebilcock, owner of King of the Cage agrees, "We are very excited to
be working with Boats.Net. Tom and all of his staff have been phenomenal to
work with, and the campaign makes sense for both entities. It's amazing to
see the cross-over and the value of the brands in both our respectable
industries. I work to fish, and it was through a mutual friend, Mike Hodgdon,
that this relationship was launched and will remain for years to come."

Boats.Net provided KOTC with a brand new pontoon boat to be used during all four “On The Water” events in 2007, the first being held on the Colorado River, Laughlin, NV on March 10th 2007 coinciding with KOTC’s Caged Chaos event at the Avi Casino and Resort.
