NASHVILLE, TN – April 2007 – Cold Tree Press announced today the release of author Devon Anthony Blackwood’s newest spiritual guide, Planted by Water. Do you feel like you are you drying up in your spiritual walk? When God called us to new life in Him, He never meant for us to wither and fade, but it happens all too often. The new Christian may get casual and careless. The more seasoned Christian may get stale and stagnant. We are called to something greater! We are meant for a relationship brimming with freshness and life. If we are drying up, we need water… and the sooner, the better.

Planted by Water explores the often overlooked lessons from Psalm 1. People who are continually nourished by the Word and the Holy Spirit remain fresh in their relationship with God, bear wonderful fruit, and learn how to prosper spiritually through good times and bad alike. Through the pages of this book, you will learn how "Deepening Your Spiritual Connectedness to God" will feed your spirit man and quench your spiritual thirst for God. You will learn how to keep a rewarding, exciting, and permanent relationship with Jesus Christ.

Cold Tree Press has also released The Planted by Water Companion Devotional Journal, a complement to Planted by Water that will help readers organize their thoughts as they study the Christian principles put forth by Devon Anthony Blackwood. Organized by corresponding chapters, it is a valuable tool in planning one’s own spiritual growth.

Planted by Water is available via traditional books stores as well as online book retailers in hardcover and paperback editions at the publisher’s suggested retails prices of $22.95 (Category: Religion, Hardcover ISBN: 1-58385-039-2, Pages: 208, Size: 6" x 9"). The Planted By Water Companion Devotional Journal is available for $8.95 (Category: Religion, Paperback ISBN: 1-58385-044-9, Pages: 104, Size: 6" x 9").
