LogicMaze Web Designs Proud to Announce Release of New Kansas State Fair Website

April 08, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
The web site for the Kansas State Fair has been redesigned by LogicMaze Web Designs. In February of 2007, the Kansas State Fair came to LogicMaze with a common request: redesign our site (www.kansasstatefair.com). This redesign, however, required more than the common aesthetic and structural changes. A major goal was to construct the site so that the staff at Kansas State Fair would be able manage the content of the site, adding new content and updating that which is already on there, without having to spend the majority of their time being webmasters.

The site has been rebuilt on the front end with the intent of making it more interactive for viewers. Links are immediately available on the homepage for visitors, vendors and competitors alike, allowing instant access to their section of interest. Scrolling news is always present at the top of the site with a link to the calendar for people looking for activities on a specific date.

Just as the front end of the site was built with interactivity in mind, so was the administrative back end. “It was a very intricate project. The Kansas State personnel have a demanding task of keeping an extremely large site up to date on a daily basis. We worked hard to make the website a great tool to help them with this task,” said Cody Heitschmidt (LogicMaze) of the construction of the Administration Panel for the new site.

The Kansas State Fair web site is of LogicMaze’s largest client to date in profile. With the fair six months away, the website still receives over 2,000 unique visits a week, which is predicted to triple closer to the date of the fair. The LogicMaze staff all say that they were happy to work on the project and look forward to any other possible projects they might be able help the Kansas State Fair with in the future.
