GILBERTSVILLE, Pennsylvania - April 2007 – Michael “D-NAX” Baczor, a very talented musician and actor from Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania, recently signed on with Wal-Mart in support of the Children’s Miracle Network. D-NAX is the first unsigned artist to be carried in the company’s history. After the Wal-Mart honchos immediately took a liking to Baczor’s marketable stew of Rock and Hip-Hop and the neoalterna-metal image he had meticulously constructed for himself, Wal-Mart agreed to promote and distribute the D-NAX release, “Fusion Helix,”

Proceeds from the sale of the new CD will benefit Children’s Miracle Network, a premiere network of hospitals for children. The CD will sell for $4.88 and $3.00 will go directly to Children's Miracle Network. The five-song EP is an excellent mix of rock and alternative with some hip-hop flavor mixed in periodically.

The up beat album consists of tracks written and performed by D-NAX, the band made up of vocalists and songwriter Baczor and guitarist Justin “Skitz” Rittle. The dynamic duo has been performing since 2004. Their accomplishments include: working with mainstream rockers Linkin Park and rap stars Bone Thugs N Harmony. Baczor is proud of his music and its message of hope and encouragement to the youth.

Shirley Rogers, Children's Miracle Network liaison for Wal-Mart, has been pivotal in the projects imminent success. “It is so refreshing to see a talented individual like Mike Baczor understanding philanthropy at such a young age” Rogers said.

“Children’s Miracle Network hospitals are all about children. We will always be there for children and their families regardless of their ability to pay. Protecting and nurturing our most valuable natural resource, our children, will always be at the forefront of our mission” Rogers went on to say

Baczor recently appeared in the major motion picture sports drama “Invincible”, which was recently released on DVD. The movie tells the tale of the Eagles’ football star Vince Papale. Baczor also appeared in the movie ‘Shooter” starring Mark Wahlberg, will soon appear in the upcoming movie “Hitman.”
