TOP DOG “UNLEASHED”

PHOENIX, AZ (April 2, 2007): Eileen Proctor, “Top Dog” of It’s A Ruff
Life! Dog Daycare and Tom Murray, owner of The Paws Resort and Spa have
entered into a strategic alliance whereby Murray will take over ownership
and operation of Proctor’s Shea Blvd. facility, effective immediately.

Under terms of the agreement, the facility will be renamed The Paws Resort
and Spa on Shea, with Proctor masterminding the company’s marketing and
business development through her strategic marketing and training company,
Top Dog Business Boosters; she has also accepted a position on their Board
of Directors.

“This is a serendipitous union”, asserts Proctor, noting that her passion
and expertise is in creative and strategic marketing, while Murray’s is in
operations. “I sold my Bell Road facility to Tom last year after realizing
he shared my passion for first class service, love of both pets and their
people, and brought years of operational proficiency to the table. Under
his ownership, the business has flourished, and I have every confidence
the same will be true for Shea Blvd. location”.

According to Proctor and Murray, except for the name and signage change,
the transition should be seamless for customers and staff alike.

“I am enormously proud of what Ruff Life! has achieved, but after 6-½
years, it’s simply time to hand over the leash to someone who will lead it
to even greater levels of success,” Proctor explains. "It's unquestionably
in the best interests of two-leggeds and four-leggeds alike!"

Under the terms of the agreement, Proctor retains full ownership of the
respected It’s A Ruff Life! name and brand which will be leveraged for
other pet-related services and products, many of which are already in
development. In addition to handling Murray’s marketing and business
development, she will be sharing the proven strategies, tools and programs
that have positioned Ruff Life! as undisputed “leader of the pack” with
other entrepreneurs, start-ups, micro and small businesses striving to get
a “leg up” on their competition through her strategic marketing and
training company, Top Dog Business Boosters.

Proctor also looks forward to expanding her burgeoning professional speaking and communications career which currently includes presenting national keynotes and seminars as well as hosting of a weekly radio program, the Small Business POWER HOUR airing Fridays between 9am-10am on 1510 KFNN in Phoenix and on web radio station www.WNBNetworkWest.com.

And, despite the shift of career focus, the 2006 Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the Year for Community Involvement insists that “it’s business as usual, especially in the areas of animal welfare”.
