Milton, NY (April, 2007) –The Business Marketing Association of the Hudson Valley (BMA-HV) will hold its April meeting on April 24 at Ship Lantern Inn, Route 9W, Milton, NY, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. The guest speaker will be James Kimple, President of J Kimple & Associates. Sponsoring this event is BBG&G Advertising & Public Relations . The agency will be announcing the launch of BusinessCardContacts.community — the first and only online directory for businesses and residents of the Hudson Valley region.

Says Bud Clarke, BMA-HV President, “A baseball club can have the best players in the country, but if the individuals don’t play well together, the chances are slim to none that they’ll make it to the Series. It’s not any different in the business world. Whether there are four people in your company or four hundred, if they don’t work as a team, the chances for success will be minimized. Jim Kimple has made a career out of training people to work better with one another. His presentation at our April meeting is sure to be of enormous value to everyone — including those who work alone but want to enhance their communications skills with their vendors and others.”

James Kimple has worked as a consultant and trainer in organizational effectiveness and workforce development for more than 20 years. His clients include companies in the metals, automotive, medical products, and consumer goods industries, as well as in public education, government, and social service agencies. The joint union-management efforts he has developed during the course of his career have enabled his clients to improve their ability to be competitive and to exceed their business goals. His training includes process analysis, effective communication, problem solving, and emotional intelligence and conflict management. In addition to his work as president of J Kimple & Associates, Kimple is an adjunct professor in the MBA program at Mount Saint Mary College.
