Renaissance Creative took home five awards at the 2006 Laurel Awards, an annual event hosted by the Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) of the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA).

This black-tie event was held on Friday, April 6 at the Hyatt Regency Riverfront in downtown Jacksonville. Although the ceremony was held locally, a panel of over 20 non-local judges — comprised of homebuilding, development, architecture, interior merchandising, and marketing and advertising professionals, determined winners.

The judges acknowledged Renaissance Creative's real estate marketing, advertising and branding talents in several competitive categories.

"We're always looking to approach a project in a unique and creative way," said firm president Tim Hamby. "The fact that we've got one of the most incredibly gifted, experienced teams in the industry and a close working partnerships with our clients, is what allows us to stay ahead of the curve."

The Jacksonville, Fla. - based firm was recognized for their advertising work, tying against themselves in the category of Best Color Ad (1/2 page & Under) for Tapestry Park a new mixed-use community offering townhome residences above an eclectic assortment of retail shops and restaurants, and Jax Home Facts, a pro-bono brand identity piece created for the, "It's a Great Time to Buy" committee — a group of concerned local homebuilding industry professionals seeking to combat the effects of negative news sensationalism during the current housing market slowdown.

Renaissance Creative's full color, uniquely oversized brochure for The Reserve at James Island, a luxury condominium community located in Jacksonville's Southside area, was also a major hit at the awards ceremony.

Having already earned rave reviews as a winner at the Nationals, The Reserve at James Island's stylish spiral bound brochure was one of the more sophisticated offerings at this year's Laurel Awards, mirroring the upscale refinement of the community's residences and resort style amenities.

Renaissance Creative also captured two honors in the Best Logo category for their design of Tapestry Park's colorful interwoven graphic and their own newly redesigned corporate logo — a sleek, sophisticated monogram logo created to spearhead a complete re-branding of the company.

Last year Renaissance Creative Services took home top honors in eight categories at the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) Excel Awards. Sponsored by the Florida Homebuilders Association, this yearly competition recognizes real-estate marketing excellence for projects, developers and builders throughout Southeast and Florida. The company was recently ranked 25th on the 15th Annual Jacksonville Business Journal 50 Fastest Growing Private Companies list.
