The Edward de Bono Foundation (UK) is holding a week long event aimed at helping businesses, government and education organisations to become more creative. Big Think Week runs from 16 – 19 April and includes workshops based on the ground-breaking tools developed by Dr Edward de Bono, including Six Thinking Hats®, Lateral Thinking™, Direct Attention Thinking Tools (DATT)® and CoRT.

As part of the event, Dr Edward de Bono, the world’s leading authority on conceptual thinking, will also be holding a unique one-off seminar on “Serious Creativity for Business and Education Success” on Tuesday 17 April sponsored by The Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA).

During Big Think Week, business and management professionals will learn about how de Bono Thinking Systems can radically alter their organisation’s approach to creative thinking and improve individual and group performance.

“Whether you are talking to leaders in business or the public sector, they will all tell you that they need to find new ways of helping people become more creative to improve performance,” says Robert Rawlinson, CEO of the Edward de Bono Foundation (UK).

“The de Bono Big Think Week has been launched to increase the teaching of constructive and creative thinking as a skill in the UK. We are delighted to be able to put such a condensed programme together, offering the opportunity for leaders to learn some of the tools, which can be used to radically improve an organisation’s approach to group communication and innovation.”
