TALLADEGA COLLEGE CHOIR TO PERFORM IN MEMPHIS

MEMPHIS, TN, APRIL 17, 2007: Under the direction of Dr. Lindy G. McLeod, the nationally renowned Talladega College Choir will perform in Memphis, Tennessee:

Located in Talladega, Alabama, Talladega College is Alabama’s oldest, private, historically black liberal arts college. Ranked by Washington Monthly as the best liberal arts college of Alabama, Talladega has been named by the Princeton Review as one of the best in the Southeast and is home to the internationally acclaimed Amistad murals. Founded in 1877, the Talladega College Choir has performed across the United States and possesses a deep commitment to performing music of African-American composers, as well as other standard choral literature.
