The Asia/Pacific-U.S. Foundation Appoints New Vice Chair

Tampa, FL. April 2007 – The Asia/Pacific-U.S. Foundation, Inc., a 10-year-old, non-profit organization focused on elevating relations between Asia and the United States, recently announced the appointment of CEO Malcolm A. Teasdale as the organization’s Vice Chair.

“Malcolm is the right executive at the right time to assist us with taking the Asia/Pacific-U.S. Foundation to the next level. His innovative style is second to none in the Tampa Bay area,” said Chair Kimi Springsteen. She is elated about all the great opportunities Teasdale’s presence will bring the foundation.

“We not only talk about bridging the bay locally but we need to bridge nations,” said Teasdale, on his newly created position. “My goal is to make Tampa Bay a leader in international commerce.”

Teasdale is a strong advocate of embracing cultural differences. His ideology is highlighted through his involvement in many cultural development programs, such as the upcoming AsiaFest 2007 and the upcoming Diversity in Business Summit, 2008.
