After months of planning and anticipation, el:consulting and MSA Interactive are pleased to announce that bookings for the first ever Cambridge HR Summit are now open.

This unique one-day Human Resources event will be held on 20 September 2007 at historic Magdalene College, Cambridge University. The conference will feature sessions led by experts with years of experience working for world-class organisations, including Cancer Research UK, HM Prison Service, and Alliance Boots. The keynote speaker for the Cambridge HR Summit is Former MI5 Director Dame Stella Rimington DCB, who will share her experience of leadership and change in organisational culture.

The workshop leaders will cover an exciting range of topics relating to human capital strategy and maximising business profitability. Christine Lloyd is the Executive Director of People and Organisation Development for Cancer Research UK – the world’s largest cancer charity. Her workshop will cover the approach being taken at Cancer Research UK to build a robust internal communications system. Steve Boast, Organisational Development Manager for HM Prison Service HQ, will lead a workshop to explore how OD can be launched with maximum impact. There will also be a talk on Alliance Boots' approach to sustainability by Richard Ellis, who is the company’s Group Head of Corporate Social Responsibility. Many other workshop leaders will share their expertise on a variety of subjects crucial to today’s organisational cultures, including employment law (hiring and firing senior executives), 360 degree feedback, and managing diversity.

The Cambridge HR Summit presents an exciting opportunity for delegates to learn and network with some of the country’s leading executive talent. Places are strictly limited to 150 delegates, and interested parties can download a booking form from the conference website – www.cambridgesummit.co.uk.
