Falls Village Golf Club Hosts 10th Annual Children Of Chernobyl Charity Tournament

DURHAM, N.C. – Marc Reynolds, general manager of Falls Village Golf Club, has announced that the club hosted the 10th annual Children of Chernobyl Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, April 21. Participants from 11 different churches connected to the Chernobyl Children’s Orphanage in Belarus participated. Tournament winners received cash and prizes, each donated to affiliated churches contributing to the Chernobyl Children’s Fund. WakeMed served as the primary sponsor for this year’s charity golf tournament. Previous charity events have raised more than $10,000 in proceeds. Over 40 children from the orphanage will be visiting the Raleigh/Durham area for the entire summer to receive medical treatment and to visit families.
