The international Positively Music and social justice station, Celebrate Radio and Streetcats Foundation's One Heart for Kids will be creating several new national and international radio public service campaigns for major societal issues.

The causes will include stopping violence, better parenting, child trafficking, AIDS in Africa and Asia, poverty in the U.S. and overseas, teen drug recovery and more.

Each campaign will solicit help for several non-profit organizations working on each cause and draw listeners to both celebrateradio.com and oneheartforkids.com to volunteer and contribute.

Celebrate Radio's CEO, Don Fass, in San Francisco, in announcing the campaigns, says 'we must do more to correct the inequities in society and those still marginalized in the wake of the Katrinas, alcohol and drug addiction, child abuse, workplace and school violence like at Virginia Tech and a numbr of other problems in our society and the world that the media, the churches and synagogues, our politicians and foundations simply
are not taking seriously enough."

Celebrate Raduo and One Heart for Kids will run information on each subject and campaign on-air around the world on satellite and shortwave, their 40 web sites and as many AM and FM stations as they get to carry the informational spots year-round.

Celebrate is calling on other groups, audio and radio people, entertainers, foundations and others to join it to help create the year-round campaigns and contribute to their distribution to hundreds of radio stations of all formats.
