Wyandotte, Oklahoma – April 2007 – After months of construction the bridge leading to Wyandotte Nation Casino is open. The completion of the project allows casino guests traveling from Afton, Grove and Fairland on I-44, as well as those traveling on Hwy 137 and Hwy 60 east through Twin Bridges State Park, to visit the brand new state-of-the-art casino facility.

Due to the extensive bridge refurbishment at Twin Bridges State Park on Highway 60, a traveler may have had to detour through Miami, or via Highway 10 to reach the casino from the North.

The bridge reaches over the Spring River which flows through southwestern Missouri farmland. The river is crossed in many places by north-to-south roads, most connecting to IH 44 between Joplin and Springfield where the casino would like to have players visit from.

“We’re excited the bridge is open and traffic is flowing on highway 60 by the facade of the property, in turn bringing in more guests and foot traffic,” said the Vice President of Gaming Operations, Jim Hunt.
