Guild Launch Announces Beta version of World of Warcraft Signature Generator

Guild Launch has released the Beta version of their World of Warcraft (WoW) signature generator (http://sigs.guildlaunch.net). This exciting new tool allows WoW players to create a custom signature banner based on their WoW characters. CEO Stephen Johnson says “our users have expressed interest in having a way to display their character data in venues other than our site, and this sig gen tool allows them to create a custom signature banner for use anywhere on the web.”

The WoW Signature Generator creates a full-color 450 x 64 image that displays the following info based on a player’s in-game character statistics:
• Character portrait (courtesy of Blizzard), name, race, class and level
• Guild name (if applicable)
• WoW server name
• 3 Character Specs
• Primary 2 Profession levels
• Up to 5 character stats of the player’s choosing (i.e. agility, defense, dodge, intellect, health, etc.)

Users can also choose 2 background colors and 2 text colors to further customize their sig. Once created, the sig will auto-refresh to show any changes in character stats. Sigs can be posted on a player’s Guild Site, online forums or anywhere on the web a player wants to display their unique WoW character info.
Guild Launch’s WoW Signature Generator is based on Antiarc’s WoW Sig Image Generator.

With each release Guild Launch expands its social and guild networking by bringing users, characters and game data together in creative ways to improve a user’s experience in and out of game. Guild Launch was founded in 2006 by Stephen Johnston with the intent to bring the best guild hosting available in both the free and subscription-based arena.
