April 2007 – Ft. Lauderdale, FL — From ceiling to floor and wall to wall, there’s skeleton heads stretching skin, pencil portraits of friends and lovers, an airplane mailbox, a ballerina sculpture, oils, acrylics, digital art, short films, and even furniture at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in the college’s Mark K. Wheeler Gallery through May 31.

This is the 33rd year of the annual show which not only offers the students an opportunity to showcase their creativity but also reveal to the public their diverse expressions. Step into the gallery at 1799 SE 17th Street for an eye-popping art experience from emerging talent.

Over 160 pieces of art from all Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale programs of study are on display: Advertising, Animation Art & Design, Media Arts & Animation, Broadcasting, Culinary Arts, Digital Filmmaking & Video Production, Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Game Art & Design, Graphic Design, Illustration, Industrial Design, Interactive Media Design, Interior Design, Photography, Visual Effects & Motion Graphics, and Video Production.
