CompuLaw Adds National Labor Relations Board Rule Set to Library

May 02, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
LOS ANGELES – May 2, 2007 – CompuLaw LLC, publisher of calendar/docket software with built-in court rules databases, has expanded its rules database—already the largest national rules database available—by adding a National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) Rules set. More specifically, the NLRB set includes events from Title 29 of the United States Code, Part 101 – Statements of Procedure, Part 102 – Rules and Regulations and Part 103 – Other Rules. These rules, and consequently the entire rule set, provide deadlines for all phases of a case before the NLRB; including the filing of a charges, petitions, pleadings, motions, discovery, hearings, appeals and compliance.

The rules also cover all types of matters that may be brought before the NLRB, such as unfair labor practice cases, representation cases, petitions for clarification of bargaining units and amendments of certifications, referendum cases and cases seeking advisory opinions and declaratory orders.

The complete set of NLRB rules can be found at CompuLaw’s website: www.compulaw.com. Download options are available in the Client Area for all registered Vision users.

“There is a full spectrum of events that must be calendared or considered when presenting a case before the NLRB. By incorporating this new rule set into the Vision software, users are protected from missing any associated deadlines and from overlooking proper procedures,” states David Kalmick, president and CEO of CompuLaw, LLC. “The addition of the NLRB rule set further sustains CompuLaw's technology leadership in the legal rules and calendaring marketplace. We will continue to maintain, update and add to our rules library in order to offer the most comprehensive and most accurate rules database for our clients.”

CompuLaw’s trusted calendar/docket software is currently used by over 70% of the top 50 law firms in California and over 60% of the AmLaw Top 50 law firms. In addition to being named #1 in the AmLaw Tech survey, Vision was also recognized as the #1 Docketing Solution for the fifth year in a row in the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) 2006 Technology Usage Survey.
