“It is so exciting to celebrate Creative Time’s 33rd Birthday with the people who made this all possible from the very beginning and who have inspired and guided us over the past 3 decades. The funds we raise with this event will help produce artists’ dream projects within and outside of N.Y. “ said Anne Pasternak, President and Artistic Director.

The event also coincides with the publication of Creative Time: The Book, a 288 page book published by the Princeton Architectural Press available in bookstores on May 1st. Guests attending Creative Time’s 33rd Birthday will each receive a copy of the book in a canvas tote bag specially created for the 33rd Birthday by Jack Spade, and showing one of Creative Time’s quintessential projects: Jenny Holzer: 2004 For New York City, Planes and Projections. The tote bag features an image of a plane high over the N.Y. skyline trailing a banner with the Holzer truism “Abuse of Power Comes As No Surprise.” A limited number of the tote bags will be sold at Jack Spade, with proceeds benefiting Creative Time.
